St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Congregation and the beacon of our institution avers us to target the integral formation of the human persons. Founded in 1831, our Congregation has a rich tradition and century-long experience in the field of education with its numerous schools, colleges, and professional and non-professional educational institutions. The CMI vision of education is "to become spiritually deep-rooted, morally upright, emotionally mature, intellectually erudite, efficient in communication skills, sublime in attitude, sober in behavior and active in social concern". Santhigiri College has a well-designed indoor stadium with multiple facilities for sports and games which is aimed to engage our students and to keep them physically fit. It offers international facilities for Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Badminton, Shuttle, Chess, Carom, etc. Students are especially encouraged to engage in some games and sports. We are conducting intercollege tournaments in our stadium.

Gym:

A Gymnasium, also named a Gym is an extra-curricular facility in the college for indoor recreation. It is equipped with equipment and machines to do exercises for physical fitness. Gymnastics existed in ancient Greece and Rome and gymnastic excellence was considered a noble and godly pursuit and was included in a complete education. Today gym is for fitness and discipline where group fitness activities are offered with the assistance of instructors. The popular thinking of being slim and thin for women and slender and muscular for men influence the students also to use gyms for maneuvering body shape as influenced by media.

Store & Canteen:

We have a well-equipped canteen for the staff and students where you get nutritious and intercontinental food. The College Store is equipped with all necessary items required for the students, like notebooks, stationery, and office items, together with a moderate food court.

Hostel:

Santhgiri Hostel for the CwD was started in 1988 and today we have on average 50 boys and 20 girls. Santhigiri College is running this hostel by meeting all its expenses. This charmed charity of Santhigiri College is our uniqueness.

Transportation:

Our college buses provide the students with transportation facilities even from far away villages. We purchased more buses as the strength of the college increased. Since our campus is a bit interior, we extended our bus services to more routes.

Faculty:

College faculties are well qualified and also they are preparing for their PhDs and doctorates. College management provides full support to faculties to achieve their goals. The college has different departments like IT, Commerce, management, etc. Faculties are of different types well experienced and well qualified youngsters.
