Sarada Vilas Law College is one of the sub-institutions of Sarada Vilas Education Institutions(r) located near Ballal Circle, 5 km away from Mysuru Railway station. Sarada Vilas Law College is the second most prestigious Law College in Karnataka established in 1954. It has an amazing history, establishing a distinct image within society. It was established by Professor. Sampige Venkatapathaiah, an educator, freedom fighter, and Advocate was the first Principal of the college. Since then, the college has been able to make a distinctive contribution to the field of legal education by providing valuable assistance in the development of law-related students. Sarada Vilas Law College is recognized for its excellence in providing excellent value-based legal education.

Sarada Vilas Law College began its work of imparting legal education in 1954 under the guidance of the former ruling family of Mysore. At the start, the college started with F.L. and B.L. courses that were later modified as LL.B. degree courses. Karnataka State Government sanctioned grant-in-aid status to our institution for a three years LL.B. degree course in 1988, and for 5 years B.Com LL.B in the years 2023-24. At present, the college is affiliated with Karnataka the state Law University Navanagar Hubballi.

Sarada Vilas Law college library was founded in 1954 and, since then, it has served the needs of education for users. It is located in a convenient location and encompasses 8100sq.mts and has a borrowing, reference, and periodicals on that same level. The library is very large. quiet and well-equipped library with a vast collection of both printed and electronic resources, which includes journals, books CDs, books, etc. The current collection includes: We have recently updated legal books with 178 updates to serve as academic books. The college is well furnished and large Moot Court hall. Moot Court is nothing but an imagined court that conducts discussions regarding Moot Court Problems. The students in the final year aged between 3 and 5 years are presented with cases that have been decided to create memorials before they can present their arguments to their peers in the Moot Court. It is believed that the Moot Court is the ideal venue for students in their final year to receive practice during the academic year prior to when they begin training. Additionally, the students who participate in moot court competitions will get caught in the moot court hall. Students have taken part in a variety of moot court competitions under the supervision of Moot Court Committee members. Moot Court remains active throughout the year.
