On 15 Sept. 1992, the Sanstha started the Saraswati Mandir Night College of Arts and Commerce to fulfill the educational needs of the disadvantaged and 'working' students. Library:

SMNCCA Library works as an important central support system for the entire college catering to the information needs of streams, arts, and commerce. The College library will remain open for students from 3.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m. on every working day. Every student admitted to the college will have to collect an identity card from the college office library. He / She will have to submit two photographs without which the identity card will not be issued. The student will have to pay a fine of Rs. 150/- on losing or failing to obtain the card within the stipulated time. Each student taking admission to this college is required to become a member of the college library. He / She can seek the guidance of the Librarian in this matter. Textbooks, reference books, paper sets, newspapers, periodicals, and other books are available for students in the Library.

Admission at Saraswati Mandir Night College of Coimmerce

B.Com.

Any student who has passed H. S. C. (Com. / Sci. equivalent) is eligible for admission to F. Y. B.Com.

A student seeking admission to this college is required to submit his / her application in the prescribed form along with a duly filled-in eligibility form. The student's admission to the college will be considered tentative until his / her eligibility is recognized by the Savitri bai Phule University of Pune. 75% attendance in the classes for every subject is obligatory for appearing for the final examination.

M. A. / M. Com.

A student who has passed the B. A. / B. Com examination of Pune or any other recognized University shall be admitted to the M. A. / M. Com. course.

Students have to submit the following documents (Two photocopies each) along with the application form :

Submission of the application form does not ensure admission to the M. A. / M.Com course.

Admission to the M. A. / M.Com. the course is subject to rules and regulations prescribed by the Savitri bai Phule University of Pune and the State Govt.

Admission will be granted purely based on a first come first serve.

75% attendance in classes for each subject is essential for a student to appear for the final examination.

The M.A., M.Com. courses will be of two years duration consisting of Two Parts i.e. part I & II. Each part is having Two Semesters. Thus the M.A., M.Com. courses are of four semesters. Each semester there will be four papers with 100 marks each. Thus the M.A., M.Com. The degree will be 1600 marks.

The special subject selected in Part I will be continued in Part II.
