Computer Lab

The entire college is connected via the Internet facility. A computer center is present on the college campus where students are allowed to surf the internet and is helpful for them to know about daily activities. The library can be accessed from anywhere within the campus through the help of interconnected computers.

Library

The Central Library of Sarojini Naidu College for Women is a very old and enriched College library in North 24 Parganas. It has near about 42000 books in various disciplines and Journals to its credit. Over the years its infrastructure has been developed and expanded to keep up with the demands of the new requirement. It is one of the very few colleges in Kolkata which houses its library in a separate building. A neat, splendid two-store building with long balconies amidst lush green surrounding stands tall as one eaten the college. There is a reading room for teachers and students in the Central Library. Users can access the library by using OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) from anywhere at any time. The Library is partially automated. Koha had been introduced here in 2015 as a local hosting basis. But to keep pace with the increasing demand from users for getting 24 hours library service, Cloud hosting of Koha was introduced in the year 2017. Nowadays there are several sites for reading free open-source e-journals and e-books. All are listed here so that users can search them from a single interface. The Central Library has taken membership from N-LIST, British Council Library to facilitate its use. The Central Library provides the facility of e-Library to its users. Computers are provided for both the teachers and the students as per their requirements. Users’ orientation program has been done for the users so that they can feel free to access various resources from the library.

Hostel Facilities

The SNCW hostel with accommodation for 64 boarders is situated within the premises amidst lush green surroundings overlooking a vast playground. It is open on all four sides with airy rooms and balconies. As it is located behind the college's main building it has its privacy and security.

Sarojini Naidu College for Women is one of the very few women’s colleges that offers a hostel for students. After college hours boarders enjoy the open space, gardens, playgrounds, and vast fields which very few colleges in Kolkata can boast of. Apart from the Hostel-in-charge, the cook, and two helpers, there is a twenty-four-hour security guard for the boarders. Strict discipline is maintained within the premises.

Sports Facilities

Three playgrounds are present in the college to support various games like Basketball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton, Karate, Taekwondo, Handball, Cricket, Athletics, and parades.

Cafeteria

The SNCW canteen is present both for the faculty members and students. Food prices are affordable. It is capable enough to seat 40 to 50 members at a time.
