Sarsuna College was established on 11th October in the year 1999. This West Bengal Government-Aided college was initially started on the Sarsuna School premises. Later it was shifted to the newly constructed building in Sarsuna Upanagari.

Library:

The library of Sarsuna College started in 1999 with only 86 books and now it is a rich collection of 30,550 books on different subjects and 250 bound volumes and 123 nonbook materials. The Central Library is well-equipped with Reference books, Textbooks, Journals, Periodicals, and Newspapers.

Seminar Hall:

The College organizes seminars on various issues. The teachers and students also participate in seminars and workshops organised by other institutions. Through these, the participants gain knowledge and get exposure to the outside world. Recently a State-level Seminar on “Niche Skill Creation and the Responsibilities of Higher Education” was organized in which eminent academicians, industrialists, and entrepreneurs presented their views. Visitors from other colleges were present besides the Sarsuna College family. The Seminar addressed multidimensional issues facing higher education today and opened avenues.
