SCAD College of Education Tirunelveli was built in 2006 by Dr. S. Cletus Babu (Chairman) and Dr.J.X. Amali Cletus Babu (Vice President). Being a dedicated teacher and socialite, they established the institution in a healthy campus environment with modern amenities, the latest infrastructural facilities, and qualified faculty to provide quality teacher training. Our institution is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bangalore (2006) and affiliated with the Tamil Nadu University of Teacher Education, Chennai (2008). The university offers a two-year B.Ed degree course with an enrollment of 100 students. It is a joint educational institution, self-financed, whose motto is "Igniting thoughts through quality education".
