Industry Institute Interaction Cell

The function of the Cell is to promote closer interaction between the academic and Industrial fields. Industry Institute Interaction Cell was established to provide closer links with industries. The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between the needs of the industry and the end product of the institute. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world, and the institute. Industrial exposure of Faculty is very helpful in guiding students about the latest industrial practices. Industries can know recent developments and inventions in their fields and implement projects for a technologically driven economy.

Objectives of Industry Institute Interaction Cell

• To give industrial exposure to Faculty members and students, thus enabling them to tune their knowledge to cope with the industrial culture

• To assist the Departments in organizing workshops, conferences, and symposia with the joint participation of the industries

• Encouraging Engineers from industries to visit institutions to deliver lectures

• Participation of experts from industries, in curriculum development

• To organize industrial visits for Faculty members and students

• To encourage Faculty members to use their expertise in solving the problems faced by the industries, thus creating opportunities for consultancy

• Industrial testing by Faculty and technicians at the site, or in the laboratory

• To organize in-plant training for the students

• To identify the areas for executive development programs in the areas of recent technological advances

• To assist the Departments in establishing rapport with industries for taking up mini projects and projects

The Placement Department undertakes the following activities to achieve the desired results and set targets.

Shape the students to meet the industry requirements

• Conducting Pre-Placement Test in every department (Final Year Students) which contains the rounds of Aptitude, Technical, Group Discussion, and Mock Interview.

• Our director from the placement team/placement officers share their best experiences with students and make them ready to face the interviews with industries without any fear.

• Providing motivational talks regularly by industrial experts.

• Arranging faculties from leading soft skills companies, to provide industry training to students in all sorts of departments and years.

• Conducting competitions like ICT Academy, to improvise the students’ skills from the crowd ( Youth Talk & Youth Present, etc.,).

• Placement of students in industries through campus recruitments, pooled campus, and off-campus recruitments.
