SBC has a well-equipped library with books, audio, and video collections on various subjects. All major national and local newspapers in Hindi and English are subscribed. Computer Lab

SBC has a state-of-art computer laboratory. E-Mail, Internet, LAN, and multimedia facilities are provided in the computer lab. Trained professionals for guidance and tutorials support this laboratory.

Editing Lab

SBC has a state-of-the-art Audio -video editing console, a professional audio recording facility with the latest soft wares, viz., Sound Forge and Nuendo, and a shooting floor for having first-hand experience with our students. Our non-linear editing studio is equipped with all the latest electronic equipment and editing soft wares such as Avid and Premier. The LCD Projector helps the students to see the latest movies and educational CDs related to their professional subjects. The computer lab has a Wi-Fi connection with all the latest software installed.

Audio Video Production Lab

SBC has its own well-equipped sound recording lab., video editing lab, and studio for television and radio software production. SBC also has strategic alliances with major studios and production houses.

Scholarship

School of Broadcasting & Communication, Mumbai is a part of the ‘Society for Arts & Mass Communication’, a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) registered under ‘The Registrar of Firms and Societies Act, 1973’, of the government of the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. As a Media Institution, SBC has strived to engage in initiatives that will help in engaging several sections of society and uplift them. The Institution is affiliated with the prestigious Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Asia’s only journalism university, established at the behest of India’s former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi.

Admission Procedure

Fill out the application form with your photograph attached.

Make a Demand Draft on the name of 'The School of Broadcasting and Communication, Mumbai from your nearest bank or your nearest branch or you can send it via Google Pay/ Bank transfer.

Email the scanned form with the receipt of Rs. 500/- attached to [email protected].

Once we receive the form and receipt you will get a confirmation email followed by the date of the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.

If you have done graduation in any Media field then you will only have to only appear for an Interview no Entrance test would be required.

Once you clear the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview you will receive the Eligibility Letter from the Institute.

Thereafter you have to pay the provisional admission fee of Rs. 20,000/- to confirm your admission.

Once you pay the provisional fee share the receipt at [email protected].

After receiving the provisional exam fee, Institute will give you a Confirmation Letter regarding your admission.
