The SCMS School of Engineering and Technology (SSET), sponsored by the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, has been at the forefront of providing quality professional education in engineering and technology since 2001. 

SSET has established state-of-the-art facilities on a sprawling 29-hectare campus in Karukutty, Ernakulam District. SSET is one of the first ten colleges to be chartered under a private self-funding program in the state. From the beginning, SSET has focused on providing quality education in a highly disciplined environment. This has paid off handsomely in recent years, as evidenced by student preference for entering college.

There are separate male and female hostels available on campus. The male dormitories accommodate 489 students and the female dormitories accommodate 390 students. There is a separate hostel on campus for first-year students. Security personnel is on duty in the hostels 24 hours a day. 

Transportation: 

A fleet of 22 college buses is provided for students and staff serving Thoppumpadi, Tripunithura, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kodungallur, Perumbavoor, and Thrissur covering all pickup points in the city and scheduled on a schedule convenient for staff and students. 

Canteen: 

There is also a state-of-the-art coffee shop on-site with a modern central food production facility serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian (halal meat) dishes. It has an area of ?? 1300 m2 and is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 500 students at a time. The canteen is staggered for the first and last year so that new students can move freely on campus. 

College Store: 

Stationery and books needed by students are made available through the College Store. A copy center is located next to the store, which meets the needs of photocopying, scanning, log linking, etc.

Our training and internship area supports the holistic personal development of our students and thus prepares them for learning activities. Faculty conducts on-campus and off-campus and on-campus pre-internship training and recruitment programs through proficiency testing, group discussions, interviews, and presentation skills.
