Residential Accommodation

The hostel is on campus. There are 32 living rooms which can accommodate 5 students in each room, provided with a writing table, chair and a cupboard. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms and washbasins with running water. There are two dining halls and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also on campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates

The Library

SCNR Government Degree College, Proddatur has its excellently equipped library housed in a second-storeyed building. It is adequately ventilated and furnished with a congenial academic ambience. The library has a collection of 10,000+ books, 100+ journals, 500+ dissertations, 4000 back volumes of journals and CDs and DVDs. Dewey Decimal Classification system is followed for the arrangement of books.

Computer Lab

Today's requirement is computer training. Our computer lab has 49 systems and continuously provides knowledge and experience to our students. The lab is also open after school hours, allowing interested students to practice and become masters of computer operations. Students use the Internet function to download and prepare their teaching tutorials and use the network for Powerpoint preparation.

This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while. Here are available not only tasty snacks but also stationery and other personal things.

Indoor games and Gymnasium

There is a provision for a gym and some indoor games items are available for the students. There is a period allotted to them, a group wise and they utilize this gym as most of the students these days try to keep their body fit with some light exercises. So this place is very helpful for the students in maintaining a good physique and helps in having a sound mind and healthy body.
