Students also have access to over 50 quality journals through the DELNET Consortium and AKTUs.

Computer lab

SCM has a well-equipped computer lab with about 120 machines, all connected through LAN. All terminals have internet service, which students can use for free. The campus is wifi which means anyone can access it from anywhere on campus.

Canteen

At the canteen of SCPM, dishing out menus is highly popular among students as well as staff. Students enjoy food in a clean, neat, aesthetic, and appetizing atmosphere. Most people fondly remember the university canteen as one of the highlights of their lives. This is where they get their creativity flowing with lively discussions, chewing up ideas, exchanging and sharing opinions, and deep-rooted edibles. The kitchen staff is responsible for providing students and staff with nutritious and hygienic food in our campus canteens. A variety of hygienic foods and snacks includes South and North Indian meals, a variety of rice, tandoori, cat, Chinese dishes, cakes, fresh juices, fruits, and ice cream galore on the menu.

Sport

All Work and No Play Makes Ramesh a Dull Boy. To bring freshness, pleasure and for the good health of the students, the institute's sports club organizes various activities from time to time. Competitions are often organized with local clubs and other institutions to encourage the promotion of a vibrant sports culture the Sports Club which maintains Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Hockey, and Table tennis is also available. An annual sports festival is organized each year to give students the opportunity to showcase their sports-related talents and contribute to event management skills.

Auditorium and Conference Room

The students of the Institute have the privilege of having an Auditorium and a conference room. The fully air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity of 300 spectators has a specialized and sophisticated setting for theatrical performances, auditions, seminars, etc. that require a high-quality audiovisual system. For the organization of small seminars, webinars, and internship interviews, the Institute has a well-equipped and fully air-conditioned conference room.

Placement is a vital activity at SCPM. The placement cell strives for final placement and summer placement of graduating students. It also helps the student in 2nd year with the summer placement. The cell keeps close liaisons with various industrial establishments (both private and government sectors), which conduct campus interviews and select the student from all disciplines.

Advice and training are given on how students can go about securing coveted positions in prestigious establishments. A committee comprising representatives of students from all the academic programs assists the Placement Officer Ms. Randeep Kaur along with some faculty members. The committee evolves a flexible and broad policy framework every year. Students are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions. The cell interacts with an ample number of industries. Most of them visit the Campus for holding campus interviews.
