1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or 55% aggregate marks in a 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern.
2. Candidates should have studied at least two subjects at the Bachelor's level, which are required as school teaching subjects in the B.Ed. course, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in each subject.
Eligibility Criteria – II
1. Candidates must possess a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, with a subject that is required as a teaching subject, and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
2. A Master's degree in Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
3. A Master's degree in Philosophy, Sociology, or Psychology from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
4. Candidates should have studied at least one subject at the Bachelor's level, which will be taken as a teaching subject later, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
5. A Master's degree in any subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
6. Candidates should have studied at least two subjects at the Bachelor's level, which will be taken as teaching subjects later, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Admission Procedure
Applicants are required to take an entrance test conducted by …………. for admission to various teaching institutions affiliated with it, based on the candidate's rank in the entrance exam.
These exams are typically conducted in June-July and consist of objective-type questions on English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic, Teaching Potential, and, in some states, a local language.
