The College, located situated in the centre of the city established in 1984-85 under the guidance under the Seshadripuram Educational Trust. The Trust founded the College with the intention to provide legal education, which is a crucial step in spreading awareness of legal issues and helping the weak within our society. The School is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, Hubli, and is recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The College has been running three-year LL.B. Courses since 1984. From 2004-05 Five Year LL.B. law program has been launched. The college has a Governing Council, which was duly appointed in the name of Seshadripuram Educational Trust. Sri K. Krishnaswamy, advocate, has been the chairperson for the Governing Council. The majority of participants of the Governing Council are accomplished academicians and legal luminaries, as well as managers and individuals who have a reputation for excellence in public service. Governing Council meets regularly four times throughout the year to examine academic and administrative tasks.

Moot Court Hall

The College is well equipped with a Moot Court Hall. In order to encourage the art of advocacy as well as to educate students to present arguments, competitions for Moot Courts are held frequently. They are held every year. Moot Court Committee holds selection rounds to teach the students. The selected students will then take part in different National and International level Moot Court competitions. They will also participate in Mock trials, and counseling sessions for clients sessions will take place inside the Moot Court Hall to help students' abilities in advocacy.

Scholarships in the Seshadripuram Educational Trust

Students who have taken admission for at least the five-year period of year B.A., LL.B. & 3 Year LL.B. courses, with a passing score of 90 percent or more in the exam that is required to qualify, is awarded a cash reward in the amount of 10,000 rupees. 10,000/-.

Students who maintain 100 percent attendance (Offline class just) for the entire class, will receive an amount of cash equivalent to approximately Rs. 2000/-.

Students who score an I mark on The University Examinations will be awarded an amount of cash equivalent to 10,000 rupees. 10,000/- by the SET.
