About Sanjay Gandhi Government Degree College Piler

The tireless efforts of Mughal Shaifullah Baig, then honourable chairman, the planning and development committee of Rayalaseema and a host of prominent local citizens of the town of Piler led to the establishment of the college under the auspices of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college was inaugurated by the Late Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr M.Chenna Reddy, on the government campus. Junior College, Piler on 22-08-1980.
