SGBMITS is a self-financing institution approved by AICTE Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal (M.P.) for B.E. course and Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur for MBA course. The institute was established in the year 2008 and is managed by Mor Group which was established in 1960 by Shri M.L. Mor. SGBMITS intends to attain greater heights in the field of technical education and stands for providing better facilities to students in order to develop their overall personality. Facilities and Infrastructure

The Central Library has a well-equipped collection of books, project reports, seminar reports, back volumes of journals, CD ROMs, and e-resources of all engineering subject areas. The book collection has prominent textbooks, supplementary reading materials, and reference books. The library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for researchers, the faculty, and the student community. The Central Library is located on the 1sr Floor of the College and is spread over two floors of 800 sq m. area. It has a separate reference section, issue cum reading room, periodical section, Book bank, Digital Library, Internet, and PG section.

The college has a spacious canteen on its campus. Situated in a clean, well-maintained atmosphere the canteen is open from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.

The institution has a robust transport system with a fleet of buses operating from various places to our campus. They facilitate ease of conveyance for both students and staff. The buses ply to and from the prominent parts of Jabalpur City and its nearby areas.

Placements

SGBMITS Engineering College has got a strong and full-fledged Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) with a full-time Placement Officer. Regular placement-oriented training programs were imparted from semester one onward.
