This rural College is situated on G.T. Road – a central place between Amritsar and Jalandhar and is spread over 10 acres having 38 classrooms, an auditorium with a sitting capacity of 1000, a fully equipped Gymnasium, three Computer Labs, a Language Lab, and a Fashion Designing Lab. The college has a spacious Library with 15187 books and this is updated every year. The College has 36 teaching staff members and 15 administrative staff and class IV employees. Hostel:

The College has a well-furnished hostel building on the campus. The students from far and wide areas stay in the hostel to complete their studies. The hostel provides a congenial and healthy atmosphere to the students. They are served hygienic and nutritious food in the hostel mess. Parents can visit their wards with the prior permission of the hostel warden during visiting hours. Free hostel facility is provided to the outstanding players. 

NCC:

The aim of the N.C.C unit is to develop the qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and the ideals of selflessness amongst the young girls of the College and to provide them a suitable environment to take up a career in the armed forces.

NSS:

The Motto of N.S. S is “Not me But you” This expresses the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless services and appreciation of another man’s point of view and also shows consideration for fellow human beings. The college runs three units of the N.S.S. and the volunteers are always on their toes to make the College campus neat and clean.

Scholarship

Scholarships are available to students belonging to the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes & backward classes as per D.P.I rules. They should produce a certificate from a competent authority to that effect before submitting the forms. These students are eligible for fees and other concessions given by Punjab Government only. Fee concessions and stipends are also granted to poor & deserving students. The application for fee concession should be submitted to the office at the time of admission. Handicapped students may avail the facility of concession.

Admission

75% attendance of lectures is a must.In-house tests, the student will have to secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject, at least in one examination out of two OR a minimum of 25% marks in aggregate of both the examination OR a minimum of 30% marks in aggregate in the third examination conducted as per discretion of the Principal. A minimum of 75% attendance in Practical subjects is essential.
