Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Nursing belongs to the Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Charitable Trust which was established in the year 2009. The society marched its step toward the accomplishment of its vision with the hospital the society further added its feathers with a college of nursing in the year 2017-18 with two years Diploma Programme Auxiliary nurse midwife, ANM Nursing, and a four-year degree B.Sc. Nursing program from the academic year 2018-19. Our college is affiliated with Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, and recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing registration council.

SVBIN Library is situated in a separate block. It has enough seating capacity according to students' strengths. A special rack has been allotted for keeping the belongings of students before they enter the reading hall. Library has established a conducive atmosphere with the provision of tables and chairs for reading with good ventilation for the students. The library is the resource hub for knowledge and has a vast collection of books, journals, magazines, and periodicals. More than 2111+ books, 6 Periodicals, Journals, and Magazines, on various subjects such as Medical, Nursing, Obstetrics& Gynecology, Pediatrics, community health nursing, Anatomy & Physiology, sociology, Nursing management & administration, other nursing materials, etc., Dissertation &Thesis and Newspapers are regularly subscribed by the BApuGKV Campus. The reference section has several Encyclopedia & Books on General Knowledge. In order to enrich the library collection, a number of valuable books on varied topics of study and interests are added every year.

the institution has a lavish Auditorium having 200 students seating capacity to carry out various extracurricular activities. The BapuGKV auditorium is well-equipped and fully air-conditioned modern is situated in the ‘A’ wing. It is preferred by Shankersinh Vgahela Bapu Institute of Nursing as well as other organizations for major national and international events like seminars, conferences, etc. A large stage and well-seated chairs with spacious leg space are the other attraction.

The auditorium is equipped with the latest technology equipment (sound systems)and LCD projector systems.it is also connected to the internet. The institution has a separate Apple computer laboratory with 30 computers for students to develop a basic understanding of the use of computers and their applications in nursing. The laboratory is a Well-equipped computer with a LAN internet facility.

The lab has adequate demonstration beds with dummies/ mannequins/simulators in proportion to the number of students practicing a nursing skill at a given point in time. It is fully equipped with built-in cupboards and racks, wash basins with running water supply, electrical fitting, and adequate furniture like tables, chairs, stools, patient lockers, footsteps, etc. There are sufficient necessary inventory articles for the practice of nursing procedures by the students.

This laboratory is designed for students to appreciate the concepts and principles of midwifery and obstetrical nursing. It helps students to acquire knowledge and skills in rendering nursing service to normal and high-risk pregnant women to antenatal, and postnatal periods in hospital and community settings. and also a modern approach to child care, identification, prevention, and nursing management of common health problems of newborns and children. It also helps to develop skills in managing normal and high-risk neonates and participate in family welfare programs. This laboratory provides first-hand experience in the assessment of the antenatal case, intranasal case, postnatal care, neonatal assessment, and demonstration of nursing care and handling problems accordingly. the institution has different highly effective models and mannequins of mother and baby. Students are taught different procedures in the MCH laboratory before going to clinical areas. This lab provides a solid foundation for pediatric and midwifery nursing i.e. first-hand experience in handling neonates and children with the help of simulated models (manikins) and also performing related nursing procedures, before going to actual clinical settings.

It is designed for the students to develop an understanding of the recent modern approach to appreciate the principles of promotion and maintenance of health and also identification, prevention, and management of common health problems in collaboration with the community health team and members of the family and also with community leader, This laboratory, equipped with community bags, for learning bag techniques, rural settings and various audio-visual aids related to a community health concern.

The institution has been designed to help the students to acquire knowledge of nutrition for the maintenance of optimum health at different stages of life and its application to nursing. The furnishing and equipment include worktables, cooking cutlery, trays and plates, cooking utensils, racks/shelves, a refrigerator, pressure cookers, mixies, and cupboards for the storage of food items. All the laboratory equipment and articles are available as per INC norms.

This Lab is provided for the proper and safe storage of all the Audio-Visual Aids. The lab is possess all kinds of basic as well as advanced training aids like chalkboards, overhead projectors, charts, posters, T.V & V.C.R., tap recorder and computers, LCD, and laptop.

The institution has Adequate space for the canteen for students and staff. Hygienic, homely, & healthy food for all our students and faculties is the most priority for the management of Bapu Gujarat KKnowledge Village. The canteen has a spacious dining hall which serves healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner as per daily menu as per decided by food committee.

SVBIN has an important service a component in the form of a transport facility completely managed by our institution. Over students are taking benefits of transportation facilities on the campus. Pick-and-drop facilities in the clinical areas are arranged as per the timings of the college curriculum with one nursing tutor always on a bus traveling with the students. In order to cover all the clinical areas of different cities like Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, near community villages, etc. sufficient numbers of buses are stocked on the campus. Our bus drivers are highly experienced and are licensed by the RTO to drive college buses to ensure the utmost safety of both the students & staff members. Also bus facility is available for the students & faculty members for their industrial visits, hospital visits, field trips, and other recreational activities of students.
