Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Pharmacy (SVBIP) was established in 2009 as a self-financed college approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE, New Delhi. The College building has 14 Laboratories including a sophisticated instrument room and industrial laboratory, Four Classrooms, Tutorial Rooms, an Auditorium, a Seminar Hall, a Library, an Animal House, a General Store & Administrative area, designed to suit the requirements of AICTE and PCI for pharmacy education.

The annual Cultural program entitled “Carnival De Village” is the main attraction for students who perform in various events such as dance, music, and drama.

In an attempt to motivate them, the College honors 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes to meritorious students of UG & PG.

Sports & Cultural Activities

The Campus has synthetic playgrounds for Volleyball,  Lawn Tennis, and Basketball. The campus also has a well-equipped playground for Cricket Football and other games. Indoor game facilities have also been provided. A full-fledged gymnasium facility is also available for students. Exquisitely landscaped garden, lake view with pleasant sit-outs.

Library

The library of BGKV is automated with an internet-based Library Information Management System (LIMS), which covers all the functions of a library. E-Library is also available on this campus where the registered students can access the library facility anytime, anywhere, and any place. The Library has an extensive collection of books, and study materials in all subjects with over 35000+ books and 50 regular national and international journals.

Hostel and Guest House

The institute caters to accommodation for boys and girls separately in the peaceful and lavish green environment which gives solace to the students after a day’s long hectic schedule. Along with all basic amenities it provides facilities to comfort the students. Hostel students are given Wi-Fi facilities too. Accommodation is available for girls and boys in the hostel on campus. Amenities i.e. TV, Computers, and Indoor games are also available inside hostels.

Canteen

Transportation

The Institute provides transportation services for students who commute from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and the surrounding area. The Institute has made arrangements for buses that ply on pre-decided routes to and from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

Banking

The BapuGKV Campus has a Punjab National Bank branch, Vasan where students and faculty can get bank service during college hours. For convenience and easy account accessibility the students can open his/her own account in the bank and can perform banking correspondence during college hours.

Medical Centre

A separate medical center has been established within the Bapugkv campus. MBBS Doctor is appointed for a medical emergency. First Aid facility is available in each and every department of each college. On this campus 100 Bed capacity Hospital has been running which provide medical facility to General Public also.
