Sharad Institute of Technology College of Engineering was founded in 2009 by Shri. Shamrao Patil (Yadravkar) Educational & Charitable Trust, Jaysingpur District-Kolhapur, which was founded by Late Shri Shamrao Patil (Yadravkar), in 1986.

Shri Anil Bagane is the Executive Director of Sharad Institute of Technology, a reputed Industrialist, and Vice Chairman of Parvati Industrial Estate & Manufacturing Association, Yadrav (PIEMA)

Residential Accommodations:

Boys Hostel

The boy's hostel accommodates 60 students. Now the college is planning for accommodation for 500 boys students. Mess ensures quality food and water purification systems for good drinking water. Hot water through the solar system is provided on every floor. The uninterrupted power supply is provided with the help of generators. Security and discipline norms are induced to avoid any outside elements entering the campus. The incoming telephone facility at every hostel adds to the convenience of parents. 24 Hours WI-Fi facility is also available on the college campus. The hostel offers some special facilities like cooking gas and electric geezers. Hostel Staff staying in each hostel building helps to maintain the study atmosphere on the hostel campus. The medical emergency facility is also available in the hostel.

Girls Hostel

The College has 60 girl students who can be accommodated in the lady's hostel. Now the college is planning for accommodation for 300 girls students. Our Library is well maintained and well furnished. We have about 34846 books and 9222 titles. More than 84 National Journals and periodicals are subscribed to currently which facilitates research in our college. We also have multiple copies of National, Regional, and Local Newspapers and Magazines. Also, we have E-Journals, E-Books viz., IEEE, and K-Hub. We have a Book Bank scheme for toppers and other students. The total management of the Library is from SLIM software. We have a spacious reading room. The total environment in Library as well as the reading room is very silent and useful for study.

Laboratories:

The college has Laboratories Facility. Well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment. There are Electronics Laboratories and Mechanical Laboratories. Computer Laboratories etc

Sports Gymnasium

Our college has the facilities for the above games. A number of players from our college participated in University level Matches. The Gymkhana is where all the student activities are coordinated. The Gymkhana is in charge of sports cultural and extra-curricular activities.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

Our College has the canteen facility monitored by a separate institutional committee that ensures food safety and solves the complaints from institute stakeholders.

Placements

The placement cell is responsible for all functions related to campus placements and internships. It is run and managed by the placement team conforming to the placement policy laid down by the institute.
