Shri Gajanan Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is one of the premier Educational Society In Pune District, committed to discharging the service of providing quality education, Established in 1989 under the charismatic leadership of Late. Shri. Vilasrao Tambe, the society is functioning in rural & hilly areas of the Northern Pune district with its vision for social transformation and, upliftment of rural masses through education, training, and research.

In the initial phases of development, the Society struggled a lot due to its limited resources and scarcity of qualified in rural areas. The management was finding it too difficult to attract experienced faculty members because of the remote location of the Institute. But without getting demoralized, the Management perused with its untiring efforts which started giving fruit at quite a later stage. Presently the Institute is recognized as one of the best in the country. It could attract quite a good number of qualified and experienced faculty members belonging to various parts of the country. We at SGMSPM, are working with a team spirit, dedication sincerity, and enthusiasm to build ourselves and the society as a whole.

Residential Accommodations:

A Separate Boys & Girls Hostel in the Otur Campus has a total capacity of 200 students’ accommodation. All rooms are attached with toilets & bathroom and in each room, 2 students are allowed to stay.

Hostel Admission is purely on first cum first basis and not on a cast or merit basis. Every student or occupant gets furniture like one cot, one table, and one chair. Arrangements are made to get the Bathroom / Toilet & common facilities cleaned at regular intervals. A hot water facility is also provided for bathing and other purposes.

Library:

SPCOE Library is enriched with a collection of printed and electronic materials (journals, books, video lectures, etc.). The Library is committed to responding to the needs of users by providing a well-organized & up-to-date collection. Library has a very Specious Reading Hall with very good infrastructure which is quite comfortable & conducive to reading & learning.

Facilities:

The college has well-furnished classrooms. The lecture halls and the computer centers are equipped with high-speed WiFi facilities that make the teaching process very efficient. Students of the college have a 24-hour internet facility. A transport facility is also provided by the college

Cafe/Mess Facility:

A spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at SPCOE’s campus. A complete and planned meal is served in neat, clean, and hygienic surroundings. All types of breakfast and meal food items are provided by the canteen. Tea, coffee, and soft drinks along with snacks are also available. All the items are reasonably priced. A Monthly Mess facility is also available for the students as well as staff members.
