Shekhawati College of Pharmacy Jhunjhunu Rajasthan was established in the year 2006 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Pharmacy. Shekhawati College of Pharmacy is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The pharmacy students are now required to have knowledge of pharmacy practice clinical pharmacy. It is planned by the management to let the students undergo pharma co-therapeutic training and monitoring of patients in the hospital associated with the Trust.

Admission

Pass in- Senior Secondary Exam with Biology or Mathematics

The total approved intake of 60 seats in the B. Pharm Course.

Total PG approved intake of 18 seats in Pharmaceutics which started from session 2021-22.

Fees payable to the university such as Registration and Enrollment fee are to be deposited separately.

The caution money deposit is Rs. 7500/- (Refundable).

Students for leisure time activities and entertainment. Well designed swimming pool with a filtration plant is available to the students to make them fit and cool down after a day’s hard work. There is a separate arrangement for yoga classes to the students remain physically as well as mentally fit.

Class Rooms and Tutorial Rooms

The Shekhawati College of Pharmacy has spacious acoustically designed classrooms and tutorial rooms with the latest electronic audio-visual aids.

Library

A separate library for degree and master's degrees was established which contains around 5000 books relating to pharmaceutical sciences and related areas and 42 national and international journals, compact disc versions and scientific video tapes are available in the library. The library is also provided with reprographic services and high-speed internet connection with numerous terminals thereby assisting the faculty and students to acquire knowledge through sophisticated means.

Canteen and Grocery

Canteen and grocery store/shopping complex. A well-equipped canteen operates round the clock. A grocery store is also available to meet the day-to-day requirement of the students and staff. A well-appointed shopping complex is being added to the existing facilities.

Medical Care

Prompt and adequate medical facilities are made available for the students round the clock, including specialist son calls. An MOU with Jangid Hospital, Nawalgarh, has been arrived at for prompt medical services and emergency needs.
