Sudhagad Education Society’s Shikshan Maharshi DadaSaheb Limaye College of Arts Commerce and Science, Kalamboli – Navi Mumbai was established in 1998. Since then it has been providing Education to the students of rural areas and the children of Mathadi Workers from Kalamboli and nearby villages of Navi Mumbai for the noble cause.

Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) Library is the heart of the organization or institute. The library plays a vital role in the development of students as well as faculty members. The library is a trinity of users, staff members & resources. Library-built collection and creates tools to support teaching and learning. To provide better service to its user S.E.S. Shikshan Maharshi Dadasaheb Limaye College, Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai established its library in 1998 for students as well as for faculty members. The S.M.D.L. College, library is centrally located on the 1st floor, near the Principal's office. There is a provision for a separate reading room for boys and girls students. The library is enriched with reference books and textbooks, periodicals, journals, and newspapers. The library provides e-library facilities to students and all faculty members. The library is equipped with CCTV cameras, Wi-Fi, Internet, LAN, a New arrival display, fire safety provision, and guidelines for smoother and more convenient movement of good services for users. The library has open access to its collection for all students, faculty, and staff. The S.M.D.L. College, library consistently supports the teaching, research, and extension programs of the college.

Scholarship

National Scholarship

An open merit scholarship is awarded by Govt. to students who have secured more than 60% marks in the H.S.C examination.

Concessions and Freeships for Students

Students whose guardians have an annual income of Rs. 15,000/- or below are eligible to obtain a freeship granted by the State Govt. (E.B.C).

Concession in fees will be given to a student whose parent is a primary school teacher(P.T.W).

S.C./B.C Students are eligible to get all fee concessions from the state Govt. GOI Scholarship).

Government Open Merit Scholarship

State Govt. offers scholarships to students according to merit achieved by them in the previous examination.

State Govt. scholarships are also available to S.C./B.C students.

Provision Such as EBC/PTC/BC/Fee Concessions

EBC:-students the income whose guardian is less than Rs.15,000/- have the advantage of this scheme. Students have to submit an income certificate by Sarpanch, Tahsildar, or Special Honorary Magistrate Signed.

PTC:-The student whose parents are working as primary teachers in Govt. aided schools can get this concession by submitting the certificate signed by Education Officer/Chief or Municipality Block Department Officer.

BC:-This scholarship is available to all Govt. of India-declared BC students staying in Maharashtra.
