The Organisation Shiv Mahesh Saikshik Sansthan, Gaurigunj Sultanpur, was founded by Mr. Kamlakar Mishra and was inaugurated by Sri Jagdamba Prasad Tripathi "Maneeshi" on the date of 7th July 1985 with many objectives. The organization, first of all, started with a primary school Affiliated with basic Siksha parishad Sultanpur. And at present Shiv Mahesh Balika Inter College Gaurigunj is affiliated with Madhyamik Siksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh.
The organization is working in rural areas with the help of the HRD ministry and the Ministry of Rural Development. Working Women's Hostel is also running for working women with the help of dept. of Women and child development Ministry of HRD
