Shivalik Institute of Paramedical Technology, Chandigarh is recognized by Central, and Several State governments, Government Undertakings, Establishments, and various prestigious Universities like Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, National Institute of Medical Sciences University Jaipur recognized by the Joint Action Committee of U.G.C., AICTE, D.E.B., and H.R.D. Ministry (Govt. of India). Madhav University Mount Abu Rajasthan NCVTE ( National Centre for vocational and technical education INDIA) is also recognized under S.R. Act. Shivalik Institute does not need any separate state approval according to Letter No. F23-1/2003-TS. III by the Human Resources Development Ministry, Govt. of India that all courses are valid for Govt. jobs. After the line of NCBTE( national center for vocational and technical education, India), also recognized by Shri Venkateshwara University as an industrial partner for vocational courses. Residential Accommodations:

Hostel Accommodation is available on a first come first serve basis. Institute is providing separate Hostel facilities for Boys,/ Girls having Hygienic Food, Filtered water, Indoor games, a TV Room, etc. for their entertainment. The hostel is well managed by the hostel warden and has round-clock security, especially for girls hostel. Institute arranges T-20 cricket matches, other sports, and cultural activities.

Hospital:

The institute is running a hospital cum Poly Clinic on its campus. Computerized pathological, microbiological, immunological, and hormonal investigations, physiotherapies dental and eye care centers, etc. for the practical training of the candidates of various courses. The institute is attached to several well-known Govt. Hospitals/Nursing Homes/Diagnostic Centres like Fortis Hospital Mohali, Max Hospital Mohali, IVY Hospital Mohali, Paras Hospital Panchkula, Sangam Netralaya Mohali, Indus hospital Mohali, Sohana Eye Hospital, Raffle's Hospital Panchkula, Gupta Eye Hospital, Alchemist Hospital Panchkula, etc. The institute is having a Hospital within the campus for the duties of students in various O.P.D labs. Ultrasound, X-ray, Physiotherapy dental, and eye. students are also deputed in the wards of the hospital. Besides this institute has a tie-up with other eminent Diagnostic centers, Biotechnology Labs, Hospitals, pharmaceutical industry for the practical training of the students.

Laboratories:

The institute is having adequate and well-equipped medical laboratories with modern equipment for the practical training of the candidates the institute is also attached to several diagnostic centers and well-equipped Govt. hospitals & Nursing Homes. The laboratories are well equipped with the latest equipment. Full-auto analyzer, cell counter, photo flame meter, etc., are attached to the hospital inside the campus for Haematology, Biochemistry, and Micro Biological samples for the practice of the students, and from the very 1st-day students are appointed in these Laboratories.

Lecture-Rooms:

Lecturer rooms of the institute are fully equipped with P.A system having sufficient space to accommodate the students and having good ventilation of air/air condition classrooms. The lectures are delivered by the concerned faculty through overhead/slide projectors. The lecture rooms are very well giving guidance through various modes like models, various charts, dummies, etc.

Library:

The institute is having a library with a sufficient number of books/periodicals / Journals on various subjects like Para Medical / Health / Public Health / Dental / Ophthalmology / Physiotherapy / Anatomy & Physiology and allied health sciences for the use of students. A calm and quiet environment was maintained for the study.

Auditorium:

Equipped with the latest facilities, especially in V-SAT, our spacious Auditorium can comfortably accommodate more than 100 students. Various cultural and educational activities are organized in the auditorium from time to time.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

There is a college canteen which serves light refreshments and lunch to students and staff. During special occasions, the canteen will arrange a special menu as per request. The guests coming to the college are treated to special food prepared at our canteen.
