The Institute became installed withinside the 12 months of 1990 below the auspices of Shivnagar Vidya Prasarak Mandal at Malegaon (Bk) Tal - Baramati, Dist - Pune. It is occupying a sprawling region of 20 hectares with impartial RCC systems housing diverse educational, instructional, laboratory, and workshop regions at the side of allied essential systems like Boys and Girls hostels, ingesting houses, Gymnasiums, play fields, etc.

Keeping in view the desires of the cutting-edge and upcoming users, we are retaining a series of reference books, handbooks, countrywide and global journals, and e-journals. Transaction of books has been done by computerized barcode system through Autolib NG Library Management Software

Auditorium:

SVPM provides the facility of an auditorium to arrange various functions such as guest lectures, cultural events, and technical events. The area of the auditorium is 36,000 sq. ft. the auditorium has 2 halls, the main hall has 1650 seats and the AC conference hall has 150 seats. The main hall has two digital screens.

Gymnasium

SVPM provides a gymnasium facility separately for boys and girls. The gymnasium is very well equipped which helps students to maintain body fitness.

Sports Facilities:

The institution has provided adequate indoor/outdoor game facilities to the students. The students are encouraged to participate in intercollegiate, zonal, and state-level tournaments. Ample land is available for playgrounds. A separate sports activities bodily education teacher is appointed for sports activities

Admission

B. E Admissions

The college offers four years of B.E courses in 6 disciplines with an annual intake of 390 students. For admissions to the B.E program, the university prepares the merit list of all the eligible candidates who hold a valid JEE (Mains)/ MHT-CET score.

Applicants must have done HSC with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject as one of the options. They must have scored 50% marks in aggregate (45% for the reserved category).

For lateral entry, a candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc with at least 45% aggregate marks. They must have passed XII with Mathematics as one of the subjects. English should have been the medium of instruction at the B.Sc level.

M.E Admissions

SVPM’s College of Engineering offers 2-year M.Tech courses in 2 specializations- Design Engineering & Digital Engineering with an annual intake is 36 (18 in each course). The admission is done based on GATE scores.

An applicant must be an Indian National and has completed a bachelor's degree program in Engineering (B.E) or Technology (B.Tech) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved categories).

The Training and Placement Cell has the vision to help undergraduate, and postgraduate students through counseling, instructions, and training for the development of desired skills essential for suitable job profiles higher education, self-employment, and inviting corporate Industries, Research or Academic Institutes, Commercial Organizations, Public Sector Undertakings for campus placement.
