Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education, Science & Technology, Dehradun is located on the bank of a stream known as Neemi in a peaceful zone, in villages-Mazhon, Poundha, Dehradun. Nature has gifted this sport with beautiful hilly terrains and dense forests all around and a running stream throughout the years, which adds to its being an ideal site for an educational Institute.

The site, mesmerizing spot on the earth, has the advantage of being connected to the Dehraddun-Chakrata National Highway by an all-weather metalled road just 13 km from Clock-tower, Dehradun, the bustling heart of the capital city. It is 14 km from the Railway station and about 35 km from Jolly-Grant Airport.

The Sprawling campus is spread over 5-25 acres of land with 4 blocks of buildings having classrooms, a Computer Lab, Laboratories, a Library, Administrative Blocks, a Canteen, a Medicinal Garden, Workshops, and a Hostel. The Library boasts a huge collection of nearly 17,000 books and national & international journals and is equipped with a wi-fi internet facility.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Well, Furnished rooms with all facilities are a 'home away from home' for their occupants.
The best environment is available for studies and the campus is totally ragging-free. A room with separate beds, and an almirah available to each student. Separate hostels are provided to girls and boys. Medical facilities are available 24 hrs. The water cooler is available for chilled water in summer. MESS is attached to the hostel. The common room is equipped with a 42" LED Television. It is having two-tier security.

With a state-of-the-art auditorium in place, students have the right platform to present a variety of thoughts, ideas, emotions & performances and create suitable settings.

Hygienic food facilities are available to cater according to the requirement of Breakfast Tea, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, Cold-Drink, etc. for student and staff members.
The colleges provide separately well maintained and well-equipped canteen facilities to provide refreshment to the students. Students find it the most suitable place to relax and discuss topics of their interest during their leisure time.

SDBIT has its own fleet of vehicles providing a good Transport System which facilitates easy access to the Institute from the main city of Dehradun to the institute. To enable students to free themselves from the worries of transportation, we have made arrangements for College buses for students as well as staff.
College buses pick up and drop off day scholars from specified locations in Dehradun city and en route, The College runs a number of buses for providing transport facilities to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students. on payment of a nominal fee.

The University provides Wi-Fi coverage at all departments, all colleges, and in an increasing number of outdoor locations throughout the University campus.

The library is a well-designed rich learned center spread over a floor area of 2,000 sq. ft with different user-friendly sections or textbooks. It houses about 17,000 volumes of books periodicals, and National & International Journals. CDs are also available on relevant subjects.
A separate calm and pleasant reading facility is available with a seating of 200 students at a time. It is fully computerized and supported by a software package.

Seminar Hall is used for student meets guest lectures and group discussions. Also on campus is a Conference room / Board room that provides top-of-the-line facilities for board meetings, student-faculty meetings, and a host of other occasions.

Placement

On this account, the institute is also planning to start courses in Personality Development, English Speaking & Writing, and Computer training, etc. very shortly Students in particular and staff in general, are expected to be benefited from these courses The Training & Placement Cell is dedicated to motivate and help the student community towards their campus placements and industrial training. This is done by training students from the first year onwards focusing on motivational skills, communication skills, interpersonal relationships, leadership qualities, group discussions, and interview techniques.
The Training & Placement Cell of SDBIT takes care of students' placement by initiating long-term relationships with companies and industries. The placement cell ensures the competitiveness of students by nurturing entrepreneurship skills and practical skills in students to exploit industry opportunities.

Admission

Admission Form The candidates may fill in three options. An incomplete form will not be entertained. Students are advised to keep spare photocopies of all documents. Students are further advised to quote their application number in all correspondence with the institute.

Marksheets Marks sheets of qualified courses(10th / 10+2+3 or equivalent) may be submitted on or before 2 days of the scheduled entrance test date/declaration of Merit Result is not declared prior to Submission of the form). Fee Fees remitted during Counseling are towards admission and advance tuition fees. It is non-refundable once admission is confirmed, Balance fees are to be remitted on or before the due dates of Admission/Joining the course. Candidates who fail to remit the fee shall not be considered for admission.
