For government seats and minority seats, the admission procedure will adhere to the schedule outlined by the Admission Regulating Authority (ARA), Mumbai (Maharashtra State), under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
In the event of seats remaining vacant after the CAP round, a separate admission process will be conducted. The schedule for this process will be prominently displayed on the institute's Notice board and website. All such vacant seats will be filled by the institute strictly based on merit at the institute level.
For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate:
(i) The candidate must be an Indian National.
(ii) They should have completed a Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to backward class categories and Persons with Disability from Maharashtra State only) in the relevant branch of Engineering and Technology from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a Central or State Government recognized institution, or its equivalent.
Or
(ii) Alternatively, they should have obtained a B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to backward class categories and Persons with Disabilities from Maharashtra State only) and passed the HSC examination with Mathematics as a subject. Candidates in this category need to clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics in the first year.
