Shri Vaishnav College of Commerce was founded on 1st August 1967 at Rajmohalla, Indore under the leadership of Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapda Market Committee. Since then the college is rendering the highest level of quality education to its enthusiastic students, and produced thousands of successful businessmen., C.A., Professors, Bankers, Sportsmen, and above all responsible citizens. Meeting the need of the modern era, the college is not only providing very sincere commerce education but also granting job-oriented vocational courses for its students. Because of the excellent educational environment of the college campus, our students are securing higher places on the merit list of universities and also being placed in reputed companies of the country. It is a matter of great pride to mention that more than 300 students are selected in campus placement camps and more than 120 students are awarded Doctor of Philosophy. Similarly, our college is providing complete sports facilities, personality development programs, different cultural activities, and social services through NSS and Red Robin Club, imparting value education to the students.

The girl's hostel is in the central part of Indore city at Rajmohalla, while the boy's hostel is located at Gumasta Nagar surrounded by the colleges of Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management, Shri Vaishnav Commerce College and Shri Vaishnav College of Teachers Training. Admissions in these hostels are on a “first come first serve basis.

The Construction of the latest modern indoor sports complex is in full swing which will be providing facilities for badminton, table tennis & other indoor sports. The College will also provide facilities for basketball and volleyball courts with flood lights.
