Shri Vaishnav Polytechnic, a premier institute of its kind, was established in 1962. under the Open Door Policy of the Govt. of India. The institute is managed by Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapda Market Technical Education (SVSKMTE) Society Indore. Since the date of establishment, the Institute has successfully scaled new heights of achievements in the field of technician education and has earned the reputation of being one of the top-ranking polytechnics in the country.

Courses Offered

The college also provides hostel facilities to boys and girls separately. Students have to fill out the application form for the hostel separately to be able to enroll for the hostel. Rooms are allotted on the basis of the seat available. All the hostel rooms have basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for the students which serve good quality and hygienic food.

The auditorium has fully equipped Audio-Visual equipment where all events and programs are organized.

Guesthouse facilities are provided by the Institute for the guest faculty, parents of the students, and any delegates visiting the college. The guest house is fully furnished with ACs, Sofa, a TV, a refrigerator, and bathroom amenities.

The institute provides a good infrastructure for students who are interested in sports. Infrastructure for sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Badminton are available at the institute for the students. These sports are practiced under the supervision of a supervisor who guides the students.

The college has a cafeteria inside the campus that serves snacks, beverages, and other food items to students and faculties. All the food items are clean and they maintain hygienic standards.

Admission

Admissions to the regular Diploma courses are based on the candidate’s performance in Pre-Polytechnic Test, which is conducted every year. Admissions to the part-time Diploma courses are done on the basis of merit.

Placements

Shri Vaishnav Polytechnic, Indore has a good placement record and pioneered campus placement in Central India. There is a separate department that takes care of the placement requirement for the Institute. Students have been provided quite good packages by renowned companies.
