The institute was founded by SIMT chairman and CEO Ravindra Kumar. He is a BE (IIT Roorkee), GIIIE, FIE, LMIIM, and former director of SAIL.  The vice president of the university is  Abhinav Agarwal. He is a well-known agribusiness entrepreneur from Kashipur. 

The area of ??the institute is 23,000 square meters. (6 acres) of land in a pollution-free green environment with an amazing view of Mt. The campus is full of beautiful lawns and landscapes and has a magnificent building. The institute has a large library, modern computer center, core staff, and desirable infrastructure. The institute also provides transport services from Ramnagar, Kashipur, Bazpur, Thakurdwara, and Jaspur at a reasonable charge.

Library 

The Central Library offers a growing collection of books adapted to the requirements of the educational programs of the institute. The collection has been carefully developed in collaboration with the faculty. New books are regularly available for students. Students have quiet study rooms for work and research. The library offers students the opportunity to share books. In addition, there is a reference book where the title of each book is always available for students. The library has computer magazines and administrative magazines. The library staff is committed to the high quality of the library. The  Central Library of the Institute is fully equipped with a carefully selected large number of Indian and foreign texts and reference works on Education, Management, and Computer/IT subjects to provide intellectual support to the students. The library also has several national and international newspapers and magazines, multimedia educational materials, and documentation sectors. 

Book a banking service 

As part of the program, students are provided with one textbook for each course for every six semesters. The purpose of the book bank is to provide students with the latest textbooks for the subject they are studying each semester. It facilitates the learning of teaching and improves the academic performance of students. This function is optional. To use this service, the student must pay a membership fee. 

cafe 

The institute also offers a cafeteria on the campus. In the cafeteria, students are offered snacks/lunch/soft drinks as needed. The cafeteria takes care of the dietary needs of the students on campus. It is open from 9:00 am. until 5:00 p.m. The name of the cafe is "Chillzzz..." and it serves delicious, healthy, hygienic food all day long.

The college has sports facilities for students. Students participate in sports for enjoyment, relaxation, and exercise. These activities also boost their self-esteem. There are indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Athletics games are organized in Simti. 

Modern learning tools 

It uses all modern learning tools like LCD PROJECTOR, OHP, etc. to meet the demands of modern education. Faculty use both transitional and modern teaching aids to teach students. 

Department of Transport  

Shriram Institute provides a shuttle service from Ramnagar, Kashipur, Bazpur, Thakurdwara, and Jaspur at very reasonable charges. 

Placement and training 

The administration of the institute tried to find suitable practices in this field for each student. For this purpose, a training and practical unit will be established. The Training and Apprenticeship Cell is headed by a duty officer and assisted by dedicated officers. Solu has an alliance with  Industries and its HR managers. Managers visit regularly to interact with students and give them insight into the real business situation. The aim of the education and training cell is to ensure that our students are well-prepared to face the challenges of the real work environment.

One of the objectives of the Society, running the Institute, was to start to establish, run, take over, or manage and maintain schools, colleges, study centers, and other Institutions with an object to provide sound pre-primary, primary, middle secondary, senior secondary, and higher education to children/students by seeking recognition.

The mission of the Institute is "To provide and promote UG and PG level quality professional education in the areas of Management, Computer Science, and Teaching Methods, etc. from the base level for a new generation and to develop the knowledge and skills that will enable them to achieve their professional goals.
