Sibga Arts and Science College Came into existence in 2003 with a view of imparting quality education for the aspiring youth living in and around of Irikkur. Sibga Educational and Charitable Trust Members came forward with a plan to start a college for higher studies under the chairmanship of visionary Mr.Shabeer Abdul Khader. SIBGA is situated on a lovely hillock between Irikkur town and Blathur. The atmosphere is most serene and Campus is spread in 25 acres of land which is conducive to academic, intellectual and physical pursuits.
Located in a rural, backward area of Irrikur, Sibga Arts and Science College was established to promote education among the people in that area. It changed into commenced in 2003 through the Sibga Educational and Charitable Trust, with a project to enhance the learning quality and capacity of students by giving them an excellent education of an exceptional standard. At Sibga, college students are taught a way to assume objectively, significantly, and creatively for the lengthy run. It works with a vision to become a renowned institution for promoting education of international standards.
SIBGA Institute of Advanced Science, Kannur is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Kannur University.

Library:
The Library is central and common to all the academic activities of the College. It provides a place to study, material for study, and services to assist with the study. With a computerized database of books in the Library, the search and retrieval of books is much easier. Students have access to a lending library with a vast treasure of Journals both current and back volumes and a reference library altogether comprising over 3000 Volumes.
Computer Lab:
A degree in computer science prepares the student to participate, direct and benefit from the advantages of the computer revolution already underway. The Department of Computer Science has excellent lab facilities with all the necessary equipment that allow the students to gain sound practical knowledge & live experience.
