Sidana Polytechnic College was established in 2011 under the patronage and guidance of the Sidana Educational & Welfare Society to provide technical training for the future generation from India. It is a privately owned institution that is affiliated with the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh. Scholarship Schemes

(i) B. R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for students of SC/ST

This scheme is only available to SC/ST students from India only. They are granted to the Govt. of the State/UT to which an applicant is a member i.e. permanent residence for the duration of all post-matriculation or post-secondary studies at recognized institutions. 

(ii) B. R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Other Backward Classes -

The scheme is only available to OBCs only and will be offered to students in India only. The scheme will be granted through the Government of the State or Union Territory to which the student actually resides i.e. permanently settled for the study of all recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses pursued in recognized institutions. 

(iii) B. R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme minorities students

The scheme aims to provide scholarships to students who belong to the economically less privileged section of minorities.
