Parvathaneni Brahmayya Siddhartha College of Arts & Science is the first offspring of "The Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education". In the year 1975, the college was started with 200 students and 15 faculty members with B.A. and B.Com. programmes.
From this humble beginning, the college has established itself as a leading institution of higher learning in the State, with the strength of 2618 students and 108 faculty members for the year 2017-18. The college has well-furnished classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, fully-fledged Botany & Zoology museums, resourceful library and reading room, English Language laboratories, a very big Indoor Stadium, 28-station multi-gym, e-class rooms, media point, webinar hall, skill centre, boardroom and a large playfield.

Residential Accommodation
Separate boys and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with WiFi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 150 students each with good infrastructure. A well-equipped gymnasium is set up for the students of the hostel to develop the physical abilities of boys and girls. A hygienic mess is attached to hostels. The rooms are spacious and airy. The Library
The treasury of books and periodicals is the centre of intellectual activity in any institution. The Central Library works for its readers with a concern for creativity and innovation, predecessors of Research and Development. It has a well-equipped library that accumulates over 10,000 volumes of selected books in various engineering, management, and basic and general science subjects.
Medical Services and Health Center
PB Siddhartha College Of Arts & Science, Vijayawada knows that physical health is more important for students to concentrate well on their studies. The College pays particular attention to the health of students. Our college has a health centre with all campus facilities and also an experienced doctor who takes care of this health centre. The medical service vehicle is always ready on site 24 hours a day.
Canteen
It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way which suits the pockets of the student. It is immaculate and very well maintained.
Sport
Physical education is strongly aimed at improving the physical and mental health of each player. This results in the development of dynamic personalities. Sports activities and achievements have helped many people get better job opportunities. The clean area with the natural gift of fresh air is a stimulating resource, which motivates the player to perform better. Sport has the same weight as academics. All sports activities are encouraged by making all facilities available when students participate in intercollegiate, intra-college, and other tournaments.
