Smt. VelagapudiDurgamba Siddhartha Law College was established by the Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education, Vijayawada in 1987 with the avowed purpose of imparting quality legal education with equal emphasis on the acquisition of knowledge and wisdom.
The Bar Council of India and the State Board of Higher Education of Andhra Pradesh granted permanent recognition to the college in 1994. It also has adjudged our college as one of the best private law colleges in the undivided State of Andhra Pradesh. The college has been accorded permanent affiliation by Krishna University. The college is endowed with the best infrastructure and the finest human resources as faculty members.

Residential Accommodation
The hostel is on campus. There are 32 living rooms which can accommodate 5 students in each room, provided with a writing table, chair and a cupboard. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms and washbasins with running water. There are two dining halls and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also on campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates
The Library
Smt. Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College, Vijayawada has its excellently equipped library housed in a second-storeyed building. It is adequately ventilated and furnished with a congenial academic ambience. The library has a collection of 10,000+ books, 100+ journals, 500+ dissertations, 4000 back volumes of journals and CDs and DVDs. Dewey Decimal Classification system is followed for the arrangement of books.
Computer Lab
The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.
Canteen
This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while. Here are available not only tasty snacks but also stationery and other personal things.
Sports
Conducted Intercollegiate Chess Men & Women Tournament cum University Teams Selection trails from 23rd &24th March-2022. Our College team Secured 3rd Place in the Krishna University Inter-collegiate Chess Tournament. Miss K. Jahnvi Ist Year B.A. LL.B Selected and represented to Krishna University Chess Women Team to participate in the South Zone Inter University Chess Tournament held at SRM University, Chennai from 1st April -2022 to 3rd April-2022.
