The SIES (NERUL) COLLEGE OF ARTS, SCIENCE & COMMERCE was founded in the year 1998. The Institution prides itself in the fact that even though it is only 16 years old, it offers quality education in every respect and the management, staff, and students have made an immense contribution to the growth of the Institution. The beginning was humble, but the College has grown by leaps and bounds over the years.

This has guided the College in offering a wide spectrum of courses, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The College has been quick to respond to the challenges of the changing times, which is reflected in the increasing choices of subjects. The College is also inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s concept of "man-making education”. A good education helps in the formation of character, strengthens the mind and intellect, and hones the skills of the students. Facilities and Infrastructure

It is used by different departments, for holding seminars, workshops, film screenings, association activities, and meetings.

The seating capacity of the Reading Hall is 180 and is open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. During Examination time the Reading Hall is open for students from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The College Library was set up in the year 1998. The Library had an initial collection of 400 books and they catered to the B.com Course. The library caters to all the undergraduate & postgraduate courses conducted by the college. Over the years, it has emerged as the sole repository of syllabus books. The collection includes over 2000 reference books and mandatory textbooks. It also includes books & even encyclopedias on the environment, management, television, journalism, video production, politics & history. An eclectic collection of fiction and non-fiction books has also been built up. The library currently today has a total of over 35000 books and 50 print journals. The library has a separate staff and student area.

The College Quadrangle is used for various events held in the college, like the Career Fair, Exhibitions, Visions, Alumni Meet, parade, rappelling display by students, Street plays by NSS students, Tug of War, Food Festival, etc.

The college provides a Wi-Fi connection to staff and students to use their laptops for projects and other college-related activities.
