Welcome to Siliguri College of Commerce, North Bengal's premier educational institution influencing business and management education in the region. This co-educational school was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2004. The 2nd accreditation cycle is now underway. This college was established in 1962, only one year after the founding of Northern University. Bengal, with whom he is related. It began its journey with just a handful of students whose mission was to enrich future entrepreneurs with business education so that they could fit into the desired position in society. As we know, Siliguri has progressed rapidly in all dimensions including academics and especially business and commerce. In this regard, the presence of this institution in this growing commercial center is all the more important. In light of this fact, the college has taken care to introduce some special courses in business and management. Introducing Honors in Management, BBA is the fruit of this effort. In fact, it is currently the only college in North Bengal that offers management and BBA courses. We hope to introduce honors in finance in the near future, C.S. intermediate and final courses, and MBA. The institution has a national affiliation with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (New Delhi) and an international partnership with the International ISBN Agency. Students (past and present) can enjoy the benefits of being exposed to all the faculty members of this Berlin (Germany) institution. In addition, the college is proud to have a fully computerized UGC Online Resource Center. Over the years, this educational institution has left a prominent mark in academics, games and sports and other co-curricular activities based on the perfect performance of students in university examinations and events. We always remember the successful students with sincere feelings and wish them to stay in the college as members of the Siliguri Commerce College Alumni Association. Facilities and Infrastructure

Library:

The college has a computer library for B.Com students on the second floor of the administrative block, with a reading hall attached to it. The library is well equipped with a sufficient number of text and reference materials and journals. The college library and reading room are open from 2 p.m. on weekdays until 20:30 and from 17:00. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday After admission, students contact the college librarian to obtain a library card. The library rules can be seen on the library noticeboard. Students must strictly follow the rules of the library.

Anti-Ragging Committee:

There is a strict ban on explosives in the college. The college has an anti-explosion committee, whose task is mainly to ensure the prevention of explosions in the institution. As per UGC norms, anti-explosion notices are obtained from students and guardians on admission

Medical Facilities:

All students of this college are members of the Student Health Center (S.H.H.). They can enjoy medical services such as external consultation, X-ray, pathological tests, hospitalization, surgery, and/or get medicines, glasses, etc. S.H.H. free or at low cost.
