1. Admissions to the undergraduate courses at Silver Jubilee Government Degree College are based on entrance exams, and the college exclusively admits male candidates. To be eligible for admission, applicants must participate in the SET-Silver Entrance Test, conducted across various cities and towns in Andhra Pradesh. The test duration is 150 minutes, comprising 160 multiple-choice questions in English and three group subjects related to the chosen degree course.
2. For B.A. courses, candidates must pass the 10+2 Board examinations in any stream, while those applying for B.Sc courses need to clear 10+2 exams with Physics, Maths, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Candidates pursuing a B.Sc in Biological Sciences must pass 10+2 exams in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
3. Candidates who clear SET undergo counseling at the institution, during which document verification occurs, and courses are allotted based on academic records, SET scores, and seat availability.
4. For postgraduate courses (M.A, M.Com, and M.Sc), applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject at the graduation level. Seats are distributed in a ratio of 42:36:22 among candidates from the erstwhile Andhra University area, erstwhile Osmania University area, and erstwhile Sri Venkateswara University area.

UG Admission 2024:

Silver Jubilee Government Degree College offers 3-year undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce. Candidates must clear 10+2 board exams in the respective stream and appear for the institute-level entrance test (SET). For B.Sc Pure Science courses, candidates need Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at the 10+2 level. PG Admission 2024:
