Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences, University Hospital & The Research Center was created in 2005 with annual recruitment of 150 students. The College achieved recognition in 2010. The medical college is located on Himayat Sagar Road, 4 km from Langar House in a unified campus with the attached teaching hospital, Housing for teaching staff, separate hostels for boys and girls, and housing for non-teaching staff, housing for nursing staff, and housing for residents and interns. The Medical College is well served by road transport from all corners of the city. It is located 16 km from the airport and 16 km from the Hyderabad railway station.

The College houses an auditorium and a lecture hall with the structure of an LCD projector, surround sounds communication system, and structure, with a capacity for more than 500 people at a time.

The aim of management is to strive hard for medical excellence with a sound infrastructure, this hospital is well equipped with modern facilities for diagnosis and treatment. Patients attending this hospital are provided with free consultation, investigations, and medicines. Inpatient facilities including I.C.U, I.C.C.U, N.I.C.U, P.I.C.U, Labour Room, Post Operative Care, and all types of surgeries which include caesarian are provided free of cost.
