Sindhi College of Arts & Science was established by the Sindhi Educational Society during the academic year 1991-92 as a self-financing college affiliated with the University of Madras, Chennai.
Sindhi College was established in the academic year 1991-1992. The college has a sprawling 22 acres site and is housed in an elegant three-storeyed building with necessary facilities in accordance with the regulations of the Government and the University. The college has set up excellent computer labs for UG and PG classes and also good facilities for Visual Communication courses.
There are over 2000 students on the rolls studying in both UG and PG courses. There are more than 105 dedicated lecturers in various faculties and they are ably guided by an experienced Principal.
