Dada Ramchand Bakhru Sindhu Mahavidyalaya ( previously called Sindhu Mahavidyalaya ) is a fifty year oldest institution of Nagpur offering high-quality education to students within colleges of Science & Commerce. It is managed through the Sindhi Hindi Vidya Samiti which is comprised of a group of social workers who are committed to the cause of promoting education. The college was established on July 1, 1971. The college is accredited with the NAAC. NAAC as Grade B, with CGPA 2.62

Indoor games

Table tennis - the sport that is table tennis first introduced by the college in year 1972. One table tennis court is situated on the on the second level (sports room)6to7 students from the college take part and play during their spare time.

Carom board - A single carom board of the size of a club is stored in the room of the physical education department located on the second floor. The game was made available at the college in 1972.

4 sets pieces and chess boards are available in the department of Physical education where a large number of students both boys as well as girls play in the room on the the second floor.

Outdoor games

Volleyball court that is standard in dimensions and poles is set up within the quadrangle having the dimensions in the range of (18x9 meters),after the timings of the college students train here to prepare for competitions.

Kabbadi the Kaddadi court that has the standard dimensions (13x8) (13x8) is located in the quadrangle. It is where the boys practice after the timings of the college for competition.

SEPAK TAKRAW with the dimensions of(44 Ft x 20ft) can be played inside the quadrangle in which the majority of boys train after the timings of the college for the contest.

Baseball, softball and cricket has been our main foundation since the year 1972. these past few years, we have an M.O.U with Annasaheb gundewar college Katol Road, Nagpur. We have training with their teams on their premises at evenings.

The sports like shooting, Fencing and Archery our students in college practice and receive their education from various Academies and Associations that are located in different parts of the city.

Gymnasium

A state-of-the-art gym is located at the top of the floor to accommodate students at the college as well as for the college staff. the size of the gym are (35'x14')it also has a the smallest music system. mirrors have been installed into the walls as well as mats made of rubber are placed in the flooring. The equipment within the Gym includes: Treadmill Cross trainer, abdominal machine, butterfly machine, wrist work, dumbell rack, cable cross plate stand, massager machine and a multi-gymnastics bike, twister machine, rowing machine two dumbbells of 3kgs, 5 kgs, 7 kgs and 10 kgs,12.5 kilograms and 15kgs.

Training & Placement

Placement is the most important link between the various stages of the completion of the education of students and their acceptance into most suitable job. The institute assists students to explore options for employment through the an on-campus recruitment drive for last year's students. The training and placement events are scheduled throughout the year in order of preparing the students for the recruitment drive for the campus. The cell is supervised by Dr. Mrs. S.A. Mandavgane of Dept. of Chemistry. She is under expert supervision of the Head and Principal of each department.
