Facilities and Infrastructure

Library:

SCOA has both central library & Departmental library. SCOA library is situated on the 2nd Floor of central library STES which is spread in 5 floors & each floor is having built up area of 1145 sq.mt & accommodates over 3000 user at a time. Architecture section has reference section which accommodates 150 user at a time. Library has a total collection of 7959 books & subscribes to 16 Indian & 04 Foreign Journal. Central Library is working 24X7on all days including Institute holidays & Sunday. Central library is having separate digital library with 30 PC’s on 4th floor & exhaustive Rooftop Restaurant for the users.

Departmental library is located at the First floor of Architecture building. Here text books, seminars, NASA sheets & study tour reports are kept for home lending & reference purpose. Department library is open from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM on all Institute working days. Sunday & Institute holidays departmental library is closed. Both central library &departmental library are Wi-Fi enabled.

Computer Labs:

To keep the students updated with the latest technology, an advanced computer center has been set up. There are two computer labs. Each computer lab has 50 latest computers & latest software packages like, Autodesk’s AutoCAD, Revit Building, Maya, Ecotect_Analysis Archicad, Architectural Desktop, Cadian Arch, Bentley’s Generative Components, and Rhinoceros.

There is A3 scanner, A4 Scanner, A3 color Printer, A4 LaserJet Printer, LCD projectors, copy machines & many other facilities provided to students in computer lab. There's complementary internet connection on LAN also being provided for students and faculty. Importance of connectivity is understood well in advance. To provide all the students and faculty with the internet facility at their fingertip, the whole STES campus is WI-FI enabled, including SCOA building and the hostels.

Admission

The admissions for the courses are streamlined via Entrance examinations. The college uses NATA, Mah M.Arch CET, and GATE as the conduits for admissions. Applications are invited online within the announced time span. The applications are scrutinized according to the guidelines and counseling rounds.
