The institute has 175 acres of artistically landscaped, lush green campus, conducive to learning. We strive to develop SIT as a benchmark in engineering education. It is the ultimate destination for students to groom their overall personality along with academic excellence. These are achieved through Value Addition Programmes (VAPs), Student Training Programmes (STP), Lab Innovations, Project Based Learning, Cultural activities, Technical events, etc.

Residential Accommodations

Separate wing for the foreign student in both boys and girls hostels with additional facilities for cooking and washing Hostels have fully furnished rooms, TV, secured Wi-Fi, dining hall, a  sufficient number of toilets, furniture, and a recreation area

Library

The central library is enriched by 46500 books with 12000 titles of various books of all disciplines of Engineering, Management, and Sciences. Along with 5000 reference books, it additionally has 207 national/ global periodicals and journals. The library also possesses 1300 CDs as offline databases. A dedicatedsix-storeyy building with huge reading halls and modern amenities is allotted to the library facilities of the campus and the central library is open for 24 hours on all days in a year with a seating capacity of more than 3500.

Central Libraries

Every institute has recourse to an independent library. There is also an impressively equipped Central Library with encyclopedic collections, references & textbooks, and a wide range of periodicals & journals of national & international standing. A well-lit spacious hall opens till late evening to facilitate convenience for learning.

Auditorium:

Scholarships

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Scholarship of Rs. 20,000/- Swadhar Yojana for SC students Rs.60,000/- per year(For eligible students) Central and State government all types of scholarships are available.

Placements

At the centralized training & placement cell we always make dedicated efforts to satisfy the student's aspirations regarding their future career goals. It is our observation that around 20%- 22% of students are planning to do their higher education either in India or abroad to help & assist them we organize seminars, and lectures for the appropriate selection of courses, universities, etc. Around 3% of students are thinking to start their own business or support their relatives. Our entrepreneurship cell helps& guides them to make them successful.
