SITA RAJARAM Polytechnic was established by Papathiyammal Pitchai Educational Trust in 2010-2011 on 5.44 hectares of land in Mettupatti Village, Hiraniyamangalam Panchayat, Kulithalai Taluk, Hiraniyamangalam Panchayat, Karur District, Tamil Nadu. A college building of 65,000 square feet was constructed and the college was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi in August 2011. The college was then affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE). Government of Tamil Nadu.

Computer Laboratory:

We have a centralized computer center fully equipped with computers and software packages with the latest configurations. All computers are connected through a local network and 24/7 INTERNET connection is provided for the benefit of students and teachers. Wi-Fi is also available on campus. Software packages such as drafting and editing packages (AUTOCAD), electrical CAD, electronic related packages, CAD CAM software, multimedia, animation, and various editing packages are available to create simulation environments and work-based learning relevant to the curriculum.

Library:

A library is the backbone of any institution. Our educational institution has all the books and magazines for students to use. A separate reading room is available. That is why our department is very important for the library. This is another place where students can focus on reading and learning. The library has more than 7,500 books with different titles. New books are purchased and the library stock has improved.

Bus Facilities:

Bus connections are available to students on all lines. Our educational institution has a dedicated team of drivers and assistants who manage the bus traffic with care and safety measures. The parents are also very cooperative and accompany their ward by bus to the university. Bus traffic operates on a non-profit and service basis.

Sports Facilities:

Sports help develop good health, character, and the importance of discipline in life. Our college has a professional and experienced physical education teacher. The campus has enough sports facilities for both outdoor and indoor sports training and games, student training, and inter-departmental and inter-college sports and tournaments. The college encourages students to participate in ward and state-level competitions. Students have also won divisional-level matches in kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket, and athletics.
