Sitarambhai Naranji Patel Institute of Technology and Research Centre, Surat courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degrees i.e Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) The Library is also equipped with the latest E-Resources (E-Books, E-Journals, and database). The SOUL Library software which is nationally recognized as well as the RFID Library Management System is being used for the purpose of housekeeping of library activities and networking systems such as intranet, internet, and Wi-Fi. The RFID technology makes the circulation of books easier as the end-users can do the ISSUE and RETURN through the KIOSK and DROP BOX machines respectively, along with the use of smart proximity cards. The entire Library is covered by CCTV.
Hostel:To aid the better education to the students residing far from the institute, and avoid the various risks of daily traveling to and from the college Vidyabharti Campus is reinforced with an In-Campus Hostel facility for the Girls. Also, we have tie-ups with the 4 Boys Hostel near the campus by just walking distance. All the hostels (Girls/Boys) have 24-hour water (timely hot water in winter), electric supply, Mess facility, etc. There are four different Messes on and off the campus, associated with the Hostels, which serve nutritious Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner to the hostel residents.
Transport:For the transportation of the students and staff, the college has more than 15 buses plying through every nook and corner of Surat city and its suburbs. The bus routes are operated after taking into account the need of the students. All the buses reach the campus before 9:15 a.m. so that students and faculty can settle down and get ready to attend the classes at 9:30 a.m. The buses leave the campus at 4:40 pm, which helps students to reach home early and safely.
Canteen:Institute’s Cafeteria is located on a spacious and airy campus. A variety of food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the Institute at highly subsidized rates. It serves delicious and hygienic food. It is open for everyone who comes to visit campus and is operational during college working hours. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak times.
