SJB College of Nursing was established in the year 2003, under Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust with an aim to provide quality Nursing education and to prepare nurses with the highest level of education and nursing practice. SJB College of Nursing is blessed with an enchanting 50 acres of campus with ample facilities including a Bank, commercial complex, ATM, Canteen, etc. The Rear Section Of the college has been beautified by converting it into a garden with a fountain in the center .it serves as a pleasing venue for delegates who come to attend various conferences hosted by the college. Moreover, the campus includes our parent hospital, an auditorium with a capacity of 2000 seats, conference halls, etc.

BGS Global; is a 500 beds, state- of the heart multi-disciplinary, and tertiary care facility with top-notch doctors and world-class facilities. The hospital is staffed with dedicated and highly competitive members of the medical and Nursing fraternity along with trained personnel, who work with sophisticated hi-tech equipment, which guide and mold SJB students to be competent in the present world and to meet the needs of individuals in various spheres of the healthcare system.

The college spends about Rs. 150000/- annually for subscriptions for various national and international journals. The college also subscribes helmet of RGUHS which of about 1000 full-text books of e-Journals.

SJBCN Lab Facility

The institution has developed well-furnished separate laboratories with high facilities for all concerned subjects like Fundamentals of Nursing, Nutrition, OBG, Anatomy and Physiology, Community Health Nursing, Bio-chemistry, etc, where the students can convert their theoretical knowledge to practice with the proper guidance of experts in respected subjects.

SJBCN Hostel

SJB College of Nursing hostel is located on the lush green surrounding the nearby main road. The hostel is equipped with all modern amenities; also the hostel mess is having the capacity to accommodate 400 students, furthermore, in the hostel students have opportunities for extracurricular activities like indoor games and outdoor games (Badminton, Caroms, Chess, and Table Tennis, etc).

SJBCN Sports

SJB College of Nursing focuses on the all-around performance of the students. Hence we have different kinds of co-curricular activities for students along with academics. The College has a fully operational sports department which includes facilities like a 400 m track playground, an indoor sports complex with a wooden badminton court, Table tennis, Chess, Caroms, multi-gym, etc. More the college owns a multipurpose auditorium with a capacity of 2000 seats where we conduct various inter-collegiate organized by the college and University.

Every year the best outgoing student and best clinical Nurse are awarded a gold and silver medal during Nurses’ day fiesta, an intercollegiate competition by SJB College of Nursing.
