Established in the year 2013, the institute provides undergraduate courses in the fields of Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Design, Interior Design.
SJB School of Architecture and Planning aspires to provide a pro-poor, pro- rural focus to a profession that is otherwise perceived to be elitist and urban. The school's vision is to "think globally and serve locally", a tradition followed by His Holiness Balagangadhranatha Swamiji throughout his life.
The institute is affiliated with Visveswaraya University of Technology, Belgaum. 5th-year b.The Arch course has been approved by the New Delhi Council of Architecture.
SJB School of Architecture and Planning Bengaluru courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e B. Arch etc.) and Doctoral levels and many more. Library :
The SAP SJB Library supports students and teachers in learning and teaching. The library houses over 600 volumes of architectural books. The collection covers topics such as architecture, art, history, interior design, urban design, landscaping, building services, sociology, and more. Over 15 National/ International Journals were Identified to be updated with the field. The library is open 66 hours per week.
Student Clubs:
The music club in SJBSAP is a mixture of various genres of music including Carnatic and Hindustani classical music, light music, instrumental, RnB, Hip Hop, Wrap, Heavy Metal, and Rock. Students of distinct musical backgrounds have come together to pursue their interests aside from architecture. The club was then called 2Gether Music Club!!
Computer Lab:
Computer-Aided Drafting and Design has made work easier for architects over the years. The software has made it easy for architects to present their visions to their clients. A CAD laboratory equipped with workstations with updated specifications will be made available to students to support them in their academic activities. CAD is a required part of the curriculum that will ensure students are well equipped to tackle the practical world outside of college.
SJB School of Architecture and Planning Bengaluru accept admission through various entrance exams All Admissions to Architecture degree course shall be subject to the passing of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
