Teaching and Learning got a far deeper meaning when the Sinhgad Institutes were set up in August 1993.

Honorable Prof. M. N. Navale, a great visionary and dynamic leader, laid the foundation of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). Society is rightly imparting a high standard of education at different institutes in the field of Engineering, Medical, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Computer Application, Education, Arts, Science, and Commerce, and has acquired fame in a very short span.

STES has received a great impact by winning the respect and admiration of many stakeholders like students, parents, industrialists as well as other institutes in a span of just a few years. Today, it has 12 sprawling, aesthetically landscaped, and environment-friendly campuses in and around Pune.

STES’s SKN Sinhgad Institute of Technology & Science (SKNSITS) was established in the year 2011. SKNSITS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, and is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The Campus Clinic here at STES, Lonavala is well equipped. It has a separate inpatient facility for male and female students. The health center provides quality health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. We provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff, and faculty at no cost. The Medical Officer manages the numerous components of the facility. he provides quality health care to everyone, evaluates the quality of services, maintains the overall performance of the center,r and makes a decision on the methods to be observed in case of emergency. Also, vaccinations and yearly checks ups are done at this facility. In the future, we look forward to expanding and bringing in high-tech medical equipment to serve better the students of our college.

The library is an important intellectual resource of the academic community to promote studies and research for self-development and plays a vital role to provide your link to the past & gateway to the future, Books are just beginning to Educate - captivate - Explore and discover Knowledge, therefore, a library can be regarded as a treasure trove of knowledge and a place where the User can search and extract useful It also functions by disseminating information about high quality and relevant reading.

The library provides open access to all library users to facilitate the fullest utilization of the available resources by the students and staff. The reading materials have been classified as per Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). The library works as a nucleus of the institution by keeping the knowledge of students and faculty members updated. The new arrival Section keeps the Information of resources constantly updated and the facilities are also added periodically to maintain pace with the recent developments in the various areas of knowledge.

Guest lectures and seminars are an integral part of all curricula at STES. To facilitate this state-of-art auditoriums, equipped with modern audio and video equipment, having a large seating capacity have been provided.

STES, Lonavala has a large team of professionally-trained security personnel patrolling and guarding the campus 24X7 to ensure the safety of students, staff, and infrastructure. The complete campus is under CCTV surveillance.

STES’s campus in Lonavala is very close to nature, surrounded by hills and lavishing greenery. The sports complex unfolding over around forty acres is the asset of STES, Lonavala campus, which incorporates separate cricket floors unfolding over five acres, one particular recreation complicated unfold over around thirteen acres with day-nighttime gambling facilities.

The Mess in STES is equipped with excellent furniture, ceiling fans, and purified potable water. Messes are provided with good cooking facilities and are fueled by gas. Admission

The admissions at the Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science are done via the Central Admission Process (CAP) by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra (DTE-MS).

Candidates need to download the application form from the official website of SKNSITS and Fill in the particulars, including the entrance exam (MHT-CET/ JEE). The CAP is notified by the DTE-MS. After the CAP rounds, admissions are done at the institute level or for vacant seats. Applying for the MHT-CET exam is done via the online portal. Fill out the application form with the personal, and academic details and upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s Photograph and Signature.

Placements

Placement activities for all the Engineering Colleges under Sinhgad Technical Education Society are undertaken together by the Central Placement Cell Headed by Prof.J.N.Pitambare. Each college has a team that works with the central Placement Cell. The team at the college comprises Training & Placement Officers along with faculty coordinators & student coordinators.
