SKP Engineering College is a self-funded college sponsored by Sri. The S. Kuppusamy Memorial Educational Trust was established in 1999 with the noble purpose of providing technical education to the rural masses of Tiruvannamalai and surrounding areas. Courses Offered: 

SKP Engineering College Courses are offered by the Undergraduate Programs (BE) in Mechanical Engineering, (BE) Civil Engineering, (BE) Computer Science And Engineering, and Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech) in Power Electronics & Devices, (ME) in Thermal Engineering, (M.Tech.) Biotechnology, MBA (Master of Business Administration).

Infrastructure and Facilities:

Library: 

The College Library was founded in 1999. The total area of the library building is approx. 1440 m². Many knowledge-based services such as reference documents, bibliography, and MALIBNET services. DELNET, reprography, CD-ROM databases, Internet browsing, and electronic services are provided by the library to users.

Auditorium: 

The air-conditioned hall has 300 seats and an excellent podium that can be used for all popular functions/events. The open-air auditorium has a capacity of 2,500 and offers the ideal atmosphere for presentations and is spacious enough to accommodate large gatherings. In addition, the auditoriums in the computer block and AE block have a capacity of 100 people and are used by the college for seminars and special events. 

Placement Cell: 

The Placement Unit works continuously to identify business needs and collaborates with the Training Unit and Career Development Unit on student education. The team finds the right talents in the right industry. He works diligently to achieve 100% of his goals year after year. The internship cell is more focused on providing students with opportunities in basic industries. 

The Employment Agency introduced the “earn by learning” model through paid internships. Students are prepared for job interviews and referred to internships. Students receive grants of PLN 1,000 or more. 10,000 - rupees. 25,000/- during the internship period. The internship model helps students and companies understand each other better and smoothes the students' way into the company.
