Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal has been established in the year 1919, by philanthropist Pujya Chhaganbha. The basic principle preached by him “Kar Bhala Hoga Bhala” has been the driving force for the growth of the education activities managed by the trust. Having started with just 6 students then, today the trust manages and runs various schools and colleges both at Kadi and Gandhinagar with more than 46000 students being educated. Of these 46000 students, around 5800 students both boys and girls stay in the hostels being managed by a trust.

Residential Accommodations: Boys Hostel

The college provides excellent hostel and recreational facilities separately for male and female students. It has 24-hour running hot and cold waters; the hostel also has a recreational room with television and indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities. The hostel kitchen provides excellent and hygienic catering facilities.

Library:

The College has a rich collection of Books, Journals, Periodicals, and CDROs, on management and computer science. Our library subscribes to more than 160 journals and periodicals in print form which includes National and International as well as 10 subscribed newspapers. The institute also subscribes to more than 7779 e-journals. The library has more than 22,000 volumes of books which include reference books on Management and Computer Science. We also have 1139 back volumes of journals and periodicals since 1998. We have a collection of CDs, books, and magazines a total of 3916, book CDs: 2477, magazines CDs: 1235, and other 204 CDs.

Infrastructure

The college is equipped with the latest Pentium based 120 computers dedicated to student use, all the computers are network based on window NT, which are attached to servers through an Ethernet cable network with IBM RS 6000 Netfinity servers, it provides the students with the necessary concept of knowledge and training required to make optimum use of latest hardware and software. The Institute possesses all relevant software and database including Capital line OLE, CMIEs, and Prowess, which incorporates data of about more than 7500 listed companies. The Institute also has a separate internet lab with 1MBPS connectivity, it also has a central server that connects all servers.

Medical Facilities:

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

The college has a Canteen facility that is available with hygienic cuisine and a seating capacity of 150 students.

Placements

The summer placement for MBA students provides an opportunity to hone their skills by way of relating theories with practice. Students are doing their summer projects by following the management models and theories, which cover various tactics and formulas which can be efficiently implemented to derive desired results along with achieving specific targets.
