THE CENTRAL LIBRARY:

The Institute has well-stocked libraries with a large number of books on diverse guides associated with this system taught, in addition to literary volumes, ready reference books, handbooks, and many books of varied interest are available in the library. A relevant library sprawls in a place of 400 sq.m, on the ground floor of the admin block with a large reading room, and is well-equipped to accommodate over 90 students at a time.

THE LABORATORIES:

SGDTP has a kingdom of artwork laboratories in every branch prepared with ultra-modern gadgets and all of the important machinery that has been prescribed with the aid of using AICTE and the affiliating bodies. The sources and centers of all of the SGDTP labs are befitting the exceptional popularity and standards set via way of means of the institute. COMPUTER CENTRE:

A Computing facility has been installed with committed hire strains and hardware to satisfy the needs of the curriculum. The Computer Centre is equipped with the latest state-of-art computers (60+ computers), software with internet connectivity of 50 Mbps bandwidth available for 24 x 7.

CENTRAL WORKSHOP:

There is a separate floor allocated for the Workshop with a sufficient area of 295 sq. mtrs. for each shop. A workshop with facilities for machining, turning, welding, and smithy is established as per AICTE norms and Board curriculum. Our workshop provides all the qualitative facilities to impart the necessary instructions and give suitable training through regular practicals.

GYMKHANA AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES:

The academic progress of the student is supported by extracurricular activities through the framework of gymkhana. The institute makes every effort to provide the facilities to its students to develop their athletic sports and cultural activities. Our institute regularly participates in the 'Zonal' and 'Inter Zonal' tournaments conducted every year by 'Inter Engg. Diploma Students Sports Association' (IEDSSA) in Maharashtra State. ADMISSION

All the admissions will be done by the college as per MSBTE and DTE Admission Norms. Candidate should have passed the SSC (Std. X) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent, with subjects Mathematics, General Science, and English, with minimum 35% aggregate marks.

Diploma Courses	Eligibility
Civil, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, and Chemical Engineering	For First Year Diploma: Candidate should have passed SSC (Std. X) examination or equivalent with subjects like Mathematics, General Science and English, by scoring a least score of 35% as aggregate.
	For Direct Second Year Diploma: Candidate should have passed HSC (Std. XII) examinationor equivalent(ITI, ATS or MCVC passed with First Class) with a minimum of 50% marks in the Technical subjects as well as the Vocational subjects.

Admission for 2024 at SGDTP, Raigarh

Admission to SGDTP is based purely on merit. Candidates who have passed their 10th or 12th-grade exams, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board, are eligible to apply for diploma programmes such as ITI/CoE. Applicants must have a minimum of 45-50% in their 12th-grade exams or equivalent, and a minimum of 35% in their 10th board exams.
